This is Patches. She was such a sweet, fluffy cat that would go out of her way to snuggle with anyone who was willing to sit on the porch with her. She had a really unique color—a mix of white, gray, and cream. That’s where she got her name from.

Farm cats multiply quickly, and the names can range all over the place. We had several "Polar Bears," "Betsy," "Scout," "Tiger," "Lion," and the list could go on. These cats braved the outdoors, yet also had a free meal every night.

Patches had the most friendly eyes. Sometimes you’d be sitting at the table eating and look up to see her looking in the window directly at you.

"Let me in, please!"
